“An Unbridled Affair” – Reception, Dinner and Auction to Benefit CAPTAIN

Reception, Dinner and Auction to Benefit CAPTAIN

On July 21st, CAPTAIN will hold its annual fundraising event at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs. Thoroughbred racing is a sport of speed and high drama dominated by equine athletes whose grace and beauty have become legendary and the CAPTAIN Board of Directors is honored and thrilled that D. Wayne Lukas will partner with Mrs. Kate Veitch as Honorary Co-Chairs for the event.

Mr. Lukas has trained four Kentucky Derby winners and had more Breeders’ Cup winners than any other trainer. His induction into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame makes it a great setting for the event. Mr. Lukas will also host a live auction, which will highlight the evening’s entertainment. Soul Session, a high energy and spirited ensemble, will provide entertainment for the evening. The group is led by “soulist” Garland Nelson, former lead vocalist of the New York Players. We are also fortunate to have the evening catered by Classé Catering an innovative special events firm specializing in one of a kind culinary experiences. Classé receives rave reviews from clients and promises to offer a customized menu for CAPTAIN’s guests.
